Plan Prepare Home is a mortgage brokerage brand operating under C2 Financial Corp (NMLS 135622). We take your privacy seriously and try to keep this policy in plain English. What we collect

We only collect what we need to help you:

• Information you give us. When you fill out a contact form, take the planning quiz, request a quote, or start an application, we collect details like your name, email, phone number, and the information you share about your homebuying or refinancing goals.
• Analytics and site data. Like most websites, we use analytics tools that collect basic technical information — pages visited, general location, device and browser type, and how you found us — to understand what’s useful and improve the site.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Respond to your questions and follow up on requests you make of us.
• Help you explore loan options, prepare a pre-qualification, and move a loan application forward when you ask us to.
• Send you updates related to your inquiry or loan, and occasional information we think is genuinely relevant to your situation.
• Improve our website, our service, and our understanding of what clients need.

How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it’s needed to do the job:

• C2 Financial Corp, our broker of record. Because Plan Prepare Home operates under C2 Financial, your loan-related information is shared with C2 as part of processing and submitting your loan.
• Service providers that help us operate — for example, our client-relationship management (CRM) system, email and SMS messaging tools, e-signature, and scheduling providers. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
• Lenders and investors when you move forward with an application and we submit your loan on your behalf.
• When the law requires it — for example, to comply with a legal obligation, respond to a valid legal request, or protect rights and safety.

Text messaging (SMS) consent

If you provide your phone number and opt in, we may send you text messages related to your inquiry or loan. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of obtaining a loan. We do not share your mobile opt-in information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we’ve collected about you, the right to request deletion of your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To make a request, email kyle@planpreparehome.com. We’ll verify your request and respond within the timeframes the law requires.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work with reputable providers and limit access to your information to the people who need it to help you.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to serve you, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (including recordkeeping rules that apply to mortgage transactions), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Children’s privacy

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
